this week I have started doing summer learning journey activity this is my first day doing it because I have been busy but from now you will see me nearly every day but today was a catch-up day so I did cool Christmas vector art I have enjoyed doing the vector art and I have made Christmas tree because I think everyone should have one small big paper or real didi you sing up for summer learning journey?

in literacy, we have been doing kiwi innovators that mean we have to make an item that is new or to make it better. I have made a slide that has all my info on it. I have made a cleaner 2000 it can vacuum dust mop put stuff away do the dishes and put stuff in the washing machine. you can make it as plain or as crazy as you like. have you ever wanted to invent something? and what did you want to invent? the slide is still a work in progress

This week in literacy we have been doing kiwi innervates and we got given a slide with lots of topics and this week I decided to do electric fences we had to read a sorry on the topic and then cancer 6 questions after that we had to watch 3 videos after that we got to design a poster on the topic that we choose.  This week in maths I have been doing rotation which means it turns around clockwise or anti-clockwise. We have done a slide about it we had to answer all the questions and then fill out a form with more questions. Have you ever tried a rotation at math? Was it easy? yesterday in literacy we did a presentation slide with all of our answers that we got during the lockdown. we had to put links to all of the slides that we used during the lockdown. but we have been learning about how food moulds and GMO food and organic food so you will see all the things I have learned during the lockdown. I have enjoyed doing this because we have also been doing science experiments. I have done an apple rotting experiments. I chose to make a recipe book but all the recipes have to have potatoes in them. Each slide has about 5 questions. we have finished 2 slides the Geography slide and the Modern Olympics this is a work and process. We had to find facts about these topics location and population, Famous Landmarks, Culture and Food, History, Other Interesting Facts. I had lots of fun doing it because you did it by yourself. Awesome winter sport tr

This week we have been doing winter sports trials. earlier in the term, we got sent out a form that had all of the options that we could choose out of. We got to pick three out of  Football, Netball, Hockey, Capture the flag, Bowls, Ki O Rahi, Gardening and Flag Football. it was really hard to choose I chose hockey netball and ki o rahi. I thought that it was really fun because I got to try some new sports. what one would you choose? I got the photo from the korimako teachers.

Amazing Court theatre day

This week court Theatre came and did some activities with the Korimako hub and it was really fun! Today I'm going to tell you about two activities. We started with a dance circle and we did some really good dance moves. The next thing we did was, we were put in groups and we had to make shapes like storms, sharks.  That was only two of the activities that we did. I thought that it was really fun. because we did activities that I have never done before. Have you ever had the Court theatre come to your school? I got the photos from the korimako teachers.

Note-taking at Literacy time!

Hi bloggers, this week in Miss Roberts literacy I have been learning about note-taking by researching animals.  I chose koalas. We got information and we had to put it in the correct boxes, so if I got only eats leaves, I would put that in diet and eating habits. I thought it was really fun because I found out lots of information about the koala. Can you tell me if you have some information that I don't have? 

I got the information from Miss Roberts and research from the Perth Zoo website.

This week in Miss Roberts literacy we have been working on how to sort out what information into the right place. So if the piece of information was lions have thick manes I would put that into a box that says size and appearance. I thought that it was really fun because we got to read and then put them into categories. This is called note-taking. Have you ever done this?
