This week we have been doing winter sports trials. earlier in the term, we got sent out a form that had all of the options that we could choose out of. We got to pick three out of  Football, Netball, Hockey, Capture the flag, Bowls, Ki O Rahi, Gardening and Flag Football. it was really hard to choose I chose hockey netball and ki o rahi. I thought that it was really fun because I got to try some new sports. what one would you choose? I got the photo from the korimako teachers.

Amazing Court theatre day

This week court Theatre came and did some activities with the Korimako hub and it was really fun! Today I'm going to tell you about two activities. We started with a dance circle and we did some really good dance moves. The next thing we did was, we were put in groups and we had to make shapes like storms, sharks.  That was only two of the activities that we did. I thought that it was really fun. because we did activities that I have never done before. Have you ever had the Court theatre come to your school? I got the photos from the korimako teachers.

Note-taking at Literacy time!

Hi bloggers, this week in Miss Roberts literacy I have been learning about note-taking by researching animals.  I chose koalas. We got information and we had to put it in the correct boxes, so if I got only eats leaves, I would put that in diet and eating habits. I thought it was really fun because I found out lots of information about the koala. Can you tell me if you have some information that I don't have?

This week in Miss Roberts literacy we have been working on how to sort out what information into the right place. So if the piece of information was lions have thick manes I would put that into a box that says size and appearance. I thought that it was really fun because we got to read and then put them into categories. This is called note-taking. Have you ever done this?
